I found this TAG over at The Honest Bookclub and I really wanted to do this one. Let’s get right into the fun below:
Think of your own villain identity and power!
I’d be one of those villains that thinks they’re smarter than they are, constantly bested by the heroes. Think Gene Hackman’s Lex Luthor…and my power would be the gift of the gab 🙂
The Leader – Pick a villain to lead the squad
Moriarty from Sherlock Holmes. The crafty, criminal mastermind who gives Sherlock Holmes a run for his money.
The Killer Smile – Pick a villain who is extremely attractive
Robert Lovelace, from Samuel Richardson’s Clarissa, is the original literary rake and all round manipulator. Sassy and hot stuff. Just watch your hearts…and your bloomers!
The Loose Canon – Pick a villain who marches to the beat of their own drum
Iago, from Shakespeare’s Othello. He’ll always be working the angles behind the back of the team. Looking out for number one.
The Unhinged One – Pick a villain who isn’t playing with a full deck
The Joker, without a doubt. Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight? You will soon.
The Redeemer – Pick a villain who is on a path of redemption/would play both sides
Spike, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. He was a perfect ‘Redeemer’ character and always had your back
The Evil One – Pick a villain who is just bad to the bone
Dr Hannibal Lecter, from Thomas Harris’ Red Dragon and subsequent series. He eats people. He’s not sorry. Enough said.
The Once-Was-Good – Pick a villain who didn’t originally start out as a villain
Without a doubt, Darth Vader/Annakin Skywalker. He was good-bad-then good again. He would do anything for love, and he would do that.
I’ve just realised that these are all men. What does that say about me? 🙂
If you want to do the tag, please feel free, and then leave a comment linking your TAG so I can check it out!
